Why we do what we do

We believe clothes can, and should, be stylish and sustainable.

We aim to make it as easy and enjoyable as possible for Londoners to buy sustainable fashion and find great local service providers that help prolong the life of their wardrobes.

We encourage The Good Wardrobe community to contribute to the website by posting in the forum or by leaving reviews for businesses in the Directory. In so doing, we can all collaborate to make the site a comprehensive resource.

We know that you - our community members - have a huge amount of knowledge and we want you to share it, not waste it (we don't like waste).

‘Collaborative consumption’ is “the next major shift in economics after the Industrial revolution” Rachel Botsman, social innovator and co-author of 'What's Mine is Yours: How Collaborative Consumption Is Changing The Way We Live'.

If you want to share your knowledge or skills by posting on the forum or reviewing a business in our long-life style directory then join our community.
